Cornerstone Health began as a dream amidst the uncertainty and fear of the COVID-19 pandemic. As friends and family turned to me for advice, assurance, and answers, it became increasingly evident that the medical establishment was faltering in meeting the needs of our community. Patients struggled to find a primary care physician who not only shared their values, but also provided the timely, comprehensive care they deserved. I desired to fill the gap with my own practice, but the circumstances of life meant that the timing wasn’t quite right.

 

With my own children at tender ages, I prioritized job flexibility to be present for my family. I also prioritized job satisfaction, and I have truly treasured the season I have spent caring for individuals during their most vulnerable moments– navigating a life-threatening emergency or facing the complexities of hospitalization. But now, as we transition into a new season of family life, I am presented with the opportunity to turn the dream into reality.

 

I firmly believe that God called me to practice medicine. Cornerstone Health represents the fruition of my calling to care for the whole person– physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  Our doors are open to all who seek not just a doctor, but a partner in their journey toward living life abundantly.
